Muddy Sneakers

Several years ago, the small and entrepreneurial Muddy Sneakers organization received a welcomed jolt – a $500,000 state of NC appropriation with the mandate to begin taking the Muddy Sneakers curriculum state-wide!
The ramp-up was intense and would require significant funding and a plan. Board Chair David Watkins asked Sims & Steele to develop both a Strategic Plan and a Development Plan.
Working with challenges of time, staff turnover and a Board that had here-to-fore operated as a big committee, Sims & Steele produced both plans on-time and on-budget. We are pleased with the exciting progress Muddy Sneakers continues to make.
